The Nike Air VaporMax 97 Japan launches as part of the Air Max Day annual event which takes place during the month of March. This radical new design showcases a sole-swapped fusion of two popular silhouettes. Consider this the perfect marriage of old and new.

Few trainers can boast the head-turning appeal of the Air Vapormax 97. A handful of colourways are expected over the coming months but none quite as dramatic as this Black Volt colourway.

Otherwise known as Japan, this theme is entirely true to an old school Air Max 97 colourway. The only major difference being that chunky Air Vapormax unit. But even this features in a bright shade of volt. Promising the best in comfort and support underfoot, this technology has been likened to walking on clouds.

The upper of the Nike Vapormax 97 Japan is identical to the original complete with wavy suede overlays and reflective 3M piping. A volt coloured Swoosh is stamped to the tongue as well as the sidewall.
